Celebrating World Humanitarian Day 2024

Ambassador Susaia attended the Commemoration Event yesterday at the United Nations in Geneva. This commemorates the day when 22 colleagues were killed at the United Nations office in Baghdad.

The event this year highlighted the dangerous circumstances that humanitarian aid workers were working in Gaza, and how 2024 was on track to be the deadliest year ever for UN staff. #ActForHumanity
